1) Do the Campuhan Ridge Walk and chill at Karsa Kafe
Starting off the list is the Campuhan Ridge walk! It is a beautiful paved walk with scenery of greenery and hills and is one of the top attractions in Ubud. Since there is little shelter, be sure to begin your day as early as possible so as to avoid the mid-day sun and enjoy a cooler walk.
Continue walking till you reach Karsa Kafe, which is a lovely cafe for you to rest and enjoy views of the rice fields. It should take around half an hour to walk to this area (more if you can’t stop snapping the beautiful sights). At this point, spend as much time as possible to take in the sights while you enjoy a refreshing drink in their open-air huts, surrounded by water filled with fishes and lotus flowers!
After enough rest, it’s time to walk back the same route and move on to the next item on the list!

Ubud is renowned for its beautiful serene nature and has attracted many yoga studios to be set up here. 5) See the Tegalalang Rice Terrace
If you have time for only one rice terrace to be seen, head for the Tegalalang Rice Terrace. The layered terraces are absolutely stunning and you definitely want to have it as part of your picture memories. There are plenty of great vantage points for snapping the perfect shot and many great areas to be photographed.
The only caveat is that it is located outside the heart of Ubud, which means you need transport to get there. You can hop on a scooter for a 30 minutes ride or join one of the guided tours. Try to avoid going in the mid-day as you will be exposed to the weather!
6) Dine with a view
Ubud has become an epicentre for culinary greatness with many world-renowned restaurants setting up shop here. Coupled with the incredible greenery, you are in for a great time with good food and even better sights! Enjoy a lovely meal in one of the many restaurants that provide amazing views such as La View, which has a bird nest-like enclave, and Sari Organik, which serves great-tasting organic food.

The Agung Rai Museum of Art houses a collection that ranges from traditional to contemporary and also has Batuan masterpieces from 1930s to 1940s on display. More than just preservation of the artworks, there are also programs and effort to help people learn more about Bali’s unique cultural heritage.
The Blanco Renaissance Museum showcases the late maestro Don Antonio Blanco’s artworks and is located at his own private mansion. He was fascinated by the female body and many paintings on display explicitly shows that. Note that there is an Erotic Room that has a minimum age limit of 17 years old to enter as it displays a large collection of paintings featuring the elegance of male and female body in the chamber.
8) Try the coffee at Seniman Coffee Studio
Do not miss the chance to taste the coffee at Seniman Coffee Studio! Arguably the best coffee shop in Ubud, Seniman Coffee Studio offers multiple brew methods with a great selection of beans.
